US, China Fail to Agree on Extending Trade Deal Ahead of Summit - Reports

MOSCOW, September 21 (RIA Novosti) - US and Chinese representatives failed to reach an agreement on extending their trade deal ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s scheduled visit to Washington this week for talks with US President Donald Trump, the Financial Times newspaper reported on Monday, citing sources. Under the terms expiring on November 10, the US had lowered tariffs on Chinese goods from 57% to 47%, by reducing the so-called fentany......
