Germany's Farken claims gold over the mile at road running worlds

Berlin (dpa) - Germany's Robert Farken claimed his biggest career success on Saturday when he won the mile race at the world road running championships in Copenhagen. Farken, 28, surged ahead in the closing stages as he clocked 3 minutes 51.80 seconds for victory .53 of a second ahead of favoured American Yared Nuguse who had led for most of the race. Luxembourg's Ruben Querinjean completed the podium in third, .97 off the pace. Farken rebounded......
