Berlin (dpa) - The International Biathlon Union (IBU) unanimously elected its new president, Tim Far?nik, without an opposing candidate at its congress in the Bavarian town of Berchtesgaden on Saturday. The 46-year-old Slovenian succeeds Swede Olle Dahlin, in office since 2018, who stepped down as his second term came to an end. The union's new vice president is Sweden's Sofia Domeij.
