S. Korea's August auto exports drop 29.8 pct amid summer holidays, strikes

SEOUL, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's August automotive exports dropped in double figures, dragged down by summer holidays and partial strikes, industry ministry data showed Thursday. The outbound car shipment plunged 29.8 percent from a year earlier to 3.85 billion U.S. dollars in August, according to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources.
