Myanmar extends visa on arrival scheme for Chinese, Indian tourists

YANGON, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar has extended visa on arrival for tourists from China and India arriving by air for a third one-year trial period, according to the Ministry of Culture, Hotels and Tourism on Tuesday. The extension is valid for one year, from Aug. 30, 2026, to Aug. 29, 2027, the ministry said.
