Suicide Rate in EU Remains Above Global Average - Statistics

MOSCOW, September 9 (RIA Novosti) - The suicide rate in the European Union remains above the global average, with over 48,000 people taking their own lives in a single year, according to data published on Wednesday by Eurostat and the latest comparable global estimates from the World Health Organization (WHO), analyzed by RIA Novosti.
