Swiss economic growth hits nearly five-year high

Geneva (dpa-AFX) - Switzerland's economy expanded at its fastest pace in nearly five years in the second quarter, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) said on Thursday. Gross domestic product grew by 1.5% from the previous quarter, the strongest expansion since the third quarter of 2021.
