US CENTCOM Claims Strike on Iran Aimed to Prevent Mining of Strait of Hormuz

MOSCOW, August 31 (RIA Novosti) - The US Central Command (CENTCOM) claims that the most recent strikes on Iran aimed to prevent its forces from mining the Strait of Hormuz. Earlier, the Fars news agency reported that several explosions were heard on the Iranian island of Larak in the Strait of Hormuz. "U​​​.S. forces took limited, precise action against IRGC minelaying forces posing an imminent threat in the Strait of Hormuz," CENTCOM said on X.......
