Belgium Preparing for Confrontation With Russia – Russian Ambassador

MOSCOW, August 30 (RIA Novosti) - Belgium is actively preparing for a potential confrontation with Russia by increasing the size of its armed forces and boosting defense spending, Russian Ambassador to Belgium Denis Gonchar told RIA Novosti. "The size of the [Belgian] armed forces is increasing, and is effectively set to double by the end of 2034… No one is hiding the goal: it is actively preparing for a potential confrontation with our country,"......
