KHARTOUM, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Eight people were killed and dozens injured in a drone attack targeting a civilian convoy in the Um Sharu area in Sudan's North Kordofan State, a rights group said Friday. The attack took place on Thursday and also destroyed four civilian vehicles, rights group Emergency Lawyers said in a statement, adding there was no military presence or armed confrontation in the area at the time of the strike.
