Guangdong carbon market closes higher

GUANGZHOU, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Carbon emissions allowances closed at 40 yuan (5.9 U.S. dollars) per tonne on Friday, 5.26 percent up from last transaction day at Guangzhou Emissions Exchange. A total of 200 tonnes of allowances were transacted on Friday with a turnover of 8,000 yuan.
