Nepal's Finance Minister Says Flood Damage Can Amount to at Least Several Billion Dollars

MOSCOW, August 28 (RIA Novosti) -The damage from the floods in Nepal could amount to several billion dollars, Finance Minister of Nepal Swarnim Wagle said on Friday. "Cumulatively, I think the losses and damages when they will be finally quantified in a week or so, will amount to at least a few billion dollars," Wagle told Bloomberg Television. The minister added that preliminary estimates of damages are "quite worrying."...
