Frankfurt (dpa) - Germany's largest defence contractor, Rheinmetall, and the state of Hesse plan to expand the defence industry hub in western Germany with investments running into the hundreds of millions. The premier of the state of Hesse, Boris Rhein, and Rheinmetall's chief executive Armin Papperger signed a memorandum of understanding at Kassel-Calden Airport on Thursday.
