Sweden keeps interest rate steady; eyes hike amid inflation risks

Stockholm (dpa-AFX) - Sweden's central bank left its key interest rate unchanged on Thursday and reiterated that a rate hike could be necessary if high inflation proves persistent. The Riksbank kept its policy rate at 1.75% and said there remains a possibility of an increase later this year.
