Hot weather leads to more accidents, German insurer says

Berlin (dpa) - The chief executive of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) has highlighted an increased risk of accidents due to heat.  The frequency and intensity of heat have changed in recent years, Stephan Fasshauer explained in a DGUV article.  "The number of hot days with temperatures of at least 30 degrees Celsius has roughly tripled in Germany since the 1950s.
