State gov't reveals blueprint for Sydney to accommodate extra 1.3 mln residents

SYDNEY, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- The state government of Australia's New South Wales (NSW) on Thursday revealed a blueprint for Sydney to accommodate an extra 1.3 million residents by 2046. Under the 20-year Sydney Plan, most of the city's new housing supply will be built in the eastern suburbs, while western Sydney will drive economic growth.
