Uzbekistan car sales down 3.6 pct in Jan.-July

TASHKENT, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- A total of 210,837 cars were sold in Uzbekistan in the first seven months of 2026, down 3.6 percent year on year, according to data released Wednesday by the Automobile Business Association of Uzbekistan. Car sales decreased by 7,940 units during the January-July period. In July alone, sales reached 31,324 units, up 4.7 percent month on month, but down 30 percent compared with July 2025.
