Vietnam's fruit, vegetable exports to China up nearly 25 pct in 6 months

HANOI, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam shipped 2.04 billion U.S. dollars worth of fruits and vegetables to China in the first six months of the year, a year on year increase of 25 percent, local media VnExpress reported Tuesday, citing the Department of Vietnam Customs. Durian exports in the six months surged 43.4 percent from the same period last year to nearly 988 million dollars, while shipments of dragon fruit, banana and jackfruit were valued......
