WINDHOEK, 10 AUG (NAMPA) – TransNamib and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) have taken steps to expand the movement of containerised cargo by rail between Windhoek and Walvis Bay.
The development follows a soft launch held on 05 August 2026 at TransNamib’s WINCON depot in Windhoek, marking the start of a collaboration aimed at increasing the use of rail for container cargo transportation.
