Russia-China Freight Traffic Via NSR Planned to Reach 20Mln Tonnes by 2030 - Rosatom CEO

MOSCOW, August 7 (RIA Novosti) - Freight traffic between Russia and China via the Northern Sea Route (NSR) is planned to reach 20 million tonnes by 2030, Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev said on Friday. "There were only seven such voyages in 2023, 14 in 2024, and 24 in 2025. This year, we expect more than 30 such voyages​​​. Shipments between Chinese and Russian ports already account for almost 15% of all cargo traff......
