UN Hopes Pause in US-Iran Fighting to Facilitate Diplomatic Efforts - Deputy Spokesperson

UNITED NATIONS, July 28 (RIA Novosti) - The United Nations hopes that the current halt in the kinetic activity between the United States and Iran will be used as a means to boost diplomatic efforts in order to solve the conflict, UN Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq said on Tuesday. "We certainly hope that the parties will use this particular lull in the fighting as an opportunity to strengthen their diplomatic efforts and to work with the mediators......
