Guangdong carbon market closes lower

GUANGZHOU, July 20 (Xinhua) -- Carbon emissions allowances closed at 37.79 yuan (about 5.56 U.S. dollars) per tonne on Monday, 0.55 percent down from last transaction day at Guangzhou Emissions Exchange. A total of 129,723 tonnes of allowances were transacted on Monday with a turnover of 4,953,272.6 yuan.
