IDF Says Eliminated Head of Hamas Special Forces in Southern Gaza

TEL AVIV, July 8 (RIA Novosti) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Wednesday that it had eliminated the head of Hamas's elite Nukhba unit in southern Gaza, alleging he took part in the attack on Israel in October of 2023. "Yesterday (Tuesday), the IDF struck in the southern Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Mohammed Emad Alrahman Abu Taima, a Nukhba cell commander in Hamas’ military wing," the statement read.
