Berlin (dpa) - Germany has officially submitted its documents in a bid to stage the start of the 2029 Tour de France in the eastern part of the country. The bid of the Grand Départ Allemagne group is to bring the most famous race in the world back to Germany 40 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall and to highlight a unified Europe.
