Laidlow sets world best time in Roth long-distance triathlon

Berlin (dpa) - French triathlete Sam Laidlow set a world best time over the long distance to win Germany's Challenge Roth for the second straight year on Sunday. The 27-year-old needed 7 hours 21:04 minutes for 3.86 kilometres of swimming, 180 kilometres of cycling and 42.195 kilometres of running.
