French Central Bank Chief Warns of Negative Economic Impact From Extreme Heat

MOSCOW, June 20 (RIA Novosti) - Bank of France Governor Emmanuel Moulin warned on Saturday that extreme heat was projected to dampen national economic growth in the medium term. "From an economic point of view, the short-term effects are somewhat mixed.​​​.. However, in the medium term, it clearly has a negative impact on economic growth. And this applies not only to heat, but also to fires and floods," the central bank chief said on France Inter......
