Munich (dpa) - Interest in satellite-based internet services is growing in Germany, with 39% of consumers saying they would consider using the technology, up four percentage points from a year earlier. The survey of 2,000 people, conducted by consultancy firm Deloitte between March and April, found that around one-third of respondents would be willing to pay up to ?5 ($5.80) a month extra for satellite connectivity on smartphones.
