UNITED NATIONS, June 3 (RIA Novosti) - Kyrgyzstan has been elected to the UN Security Council for a two-year term for the first time, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported on Wednesday. Kyrgyzstan needed four rounds to be elected by the UN General Assembly, competing with the Philippines.
