Air Defense Forces Down 42 Ukrainian Drones Over Russian Regions - Defense Ministry

MOSCOW, May 17 (RIA Novosti) - Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 42 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian regions within five hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday. "Between 09:00 and 14:00 Moscow time [6:00 and 11:00 GMT], air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 42 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
