Spain Allows Hantavirus-Hit Cruise Ship to Dock in Canary Islands - Health Ministry

MOSCOW, May 6 (RIA Novosti) - Spain will receive the MV Hondius cruise ship in the Canary Islands after a hantavirus outbreak was reported on board, the Spanish Health Ministry said on Wednesday. "The World Health Organization, in coordination with the European Union, has requested that the Spanish government receive the vessel MV Hondius in the Canary Islands," the ministry said in a statement.
