MOSCOW, May 5 (RIA Novosti) - Russian air defense alert systems shot down 289 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions and the Sea of Azov overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry said. "During the past night, from 8 p.m. Moscow time [17:00 GMT] on May 4 of this year to 7 a.m. Moscow time [04:00 GMT] on May 5 of this year, air defense alert systems intercepted and destroyed 289 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the report said.
