Kuwaiti Oil Minister Confirms Plans to Hike Output to 2.6Mln Bpd

DOHA, May 3 (RIA Novosti) - Kuwaiti Oil Minister Tariq Al-Roumi confirmed on Sunday that the oil-rich Gulf country planned to exhaust its production quota set by the OPEC+ group for June. "The [total OPEC+ production] increase will amount to 188,000 barrels per day for June 2026, with the State of Kuwait's production for June 2026 reaching 2.628 million barrels per day," he was cited as saying by the oil ministry following the meeting of the OPEC......
