Leverkusen renew contract of defender Tapsoba until 2031

Dusseldorf (dpa) - Bayer Leverkusen have renewed the contract of defender Edmond Tapsoba by three years until 2031, the Bundesliga club said on Wednesday. Tapsoba, 27, came to Leverkusen in 2020 from Portugal's Vitoria Guimaraes and was part of the Invincibles team that won the 2024 Bundesliga and German Cup double without s single defeat.
