Fed Head Nominee Warsh Questions Impact of AI on Employment

WASHINGTON, April 21 (RIA Novosti) - US Federal Reserve head nominee Kevin Warsh said on Tuesday that he has questions over the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on employment. “While it [employment of AI] could have, over time, improvements in the price level and make the Fed's job on inflation easier, there is a question what it means for employment,” Warsh said during his testimony in the Senate Banking Confirmation hearing.
