Lamine Yamal named Young Sportsperson of the Year at Laureus awards

London (PA Media/dpa) - Barcelona and Spain attacker Lamine Yamal has claimed the inaugural Young Sportsperson of the Year at the Laureus World Sports Awards. The ceremony took place in Madrid on Monday night and Yamal was recognized for a superb 2025. Yamal went into the new year as a European Championship winner with Spain and inspired Barca to a domestic treble last season.
