Jonathan Klinsmann suffers neck injury in Italian second division

Berlin (dpa) - Cesena goalkeeper Jonathan Klinsmann, the son of former Germany coach Jürgen Klinsmann, has broken a vertebra in his neck during the second division match against Palermo on Saturday. The club said in a statement late on Sunday that "initial tests revealed a fracture to the first cervical vertebra" and a cut to the back of the head.
