Brazilian basketball legend Oscar Schmidt, a five-time Olympian and one of the greatest scorers in the sport's history, died Friday aged 68, his family and officials said. The Hall of Famer, who remains the leading scorer in the history of Olympic basketball, passed after a long battle with a brain tumor, his family said.
