Berlin (dpa) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has congratulated Viktor Orbán's likely successor as prime minister of Hungary immediately after the right-wing populist conceded defeat in Sunday's parliamentary election. "I look forward to working together for a strong, secure and, above all, united Europe," Merz wrote on Platform X to Peter Magyar, whose centre-right Tisza Party appears on track to secure a majority in parliament. dpa mi trew xx......
