Finland to Procure 112 South Korean K9 Howitzers Worth $640Mln – Defense Ministry

MOSCOW, April 9 (RIA Novosti) - Finland will purchase 112 K9 Thunder self-propelled howitzers from South Korea for 546.8 million euros (some $640 million), the Finnish Defense Ministry said on Thursday. "The procurement includes 112 pieces of surplus K9 self-propelled howitzers as well as related spare parts and special tools and test equipment.
