Legendary mare Winx's first surviving foal, that sold for a record Aus$10 million (US$7 million), was retired on veterinary advice on Wednesday without running a race. Quinceanera set a new global mark for a thoroughbred yearling when Australian Debbie Kepitis's Woppitt Bloodstock fended off interest from America, Japan and Europe to buy her in 2024.
