Iran Rejects Temporary Ceasefire, Citing June 'False Pretext'

UNITED NATIONS, April 7 (RIA Novosti) - Tehran has categorically rejected any temporary ceasefire, citing bad experience from June 2025, when hostilities resumed under a false pretext, Iran’s Permanent Representative to the UN Amir Saeid Iravani said on Tuesday. "Iran categorically rejects a temporary ceasefire, particularly in light of the June experience, when hostilities resumed under false pretexts," Iravani said during a UN Security Council......
