Munich (dpa) - The average price of diesel at German fuel pumps topped ?2.502 ($2.890) per litre when prices were increased at midday (1000 GMT), breaching the ?2.50 mark for the first time, the ADAC automobile association reported on Tuesday. Under a regulation imposed on Wednesday, April 1, in the face of soaring prices caused by the Iran war, fuel stations are permitted to increase prices once a day at noon.
