Czech inflation climbs to 1.9% in March

Prague (dpa-AFX) - The Czech Republic's consumer price inflation accelerated less-than-expected in March, preliminary data from the Czech Statistical Office showed on Tuesday. Consumer prices climbed 1.9% year-over-year in March, faster than the 1.4% increase in February. Economists were looking for an increase of 2%. Services inflation rose to 4.7% from 4.5%, and prices for goods rebounded slightly by 0.1%. The deflation in energy eased sharply......
