Stranded Baltic humpback whale off Germany's coast resumes swimming

Schwerin, Germany (dpa) - A humpback whale that has repeatedly been marooned on sandbanks in the Baltic Sea has resumed swimming and was moving towards open water, authorities said late on Monday. The whale has submerged and is no longer visible, a water police spokesman said.
