SWAKOPMUND, 30 MAR (NAMPA) – Households headed by elderly persons aged 60 and above top the Erongo Region demographic, accounting for over 10 per cent of all households in the region.
In rural areas, particularly, nearly one in four households, which is 23.8 per cent, is headed by an elderly person, compared to 9.4 per cent in urban areas.
