Frankfurt (dpa) - German steelmaker Salzgitter announced on Monday that it had cut losses last year and aimed to go into the black in 2026. Net losses came in at ?69.8 million ($80.9 million), despite a weak steel market, well down from the loss of ?347.9 million in 2024, when the figures were hit by negative revaluations, increases to reserves and restructuring costs.
