Irish plane-leasing company AerCap has ordered 100 single-aisle planes from Airbus, the two companies said Wednesday. The order is for 23 A320neos and 77 A321neos, the stretch version of Airbus's best-selling model, the European manufacturer said. In its own statement, AerCap said the deal involved 55 new firm orders and the activation of 45 options, with delivery expected between 2028 and 2034. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
