WASHINGTON, March 17 (RIA Novosti) - The continuing halt of traffic in the Strait of Hormuz will trigger an increase in hunger across the world, UN Deputy Spokesman Farhan Haq said on Tuesday. "What is important now is that all steps be taken to make sure that the Strait of Hormuz can be functional. Because as I just pointed out one of the consequences of it not being opened will be a drastic increase in world hunger," Haq said during a briefing......
