Cologne fined over stadium announcer comments at Bundesliga match

Frankfurt (dpa) - Cologne were on Tuesday fined ?8,000 ($9,200) by the German Football Federation (DFB) in connection with controversial statements by their stadium announcer at a recent Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund. Announcer Michael Trippel said "ugh, disgusting" over the public address system when Cologne player Jahmai Simpson-Pusey was sent off late in first half of the March 7 match. He also whipped up the crowd after the match......
