Russian Skier Voronchikhina Wins 2nd Gold at Paralympics in Italy

MOSCOW, March 14 (RIA Novosti) - Russian para-alpine skier Varvara Voronchikhina on Saturday won the gold medal in the Women's Slalom (Standing) event at the Paralympic Games in Italy. With a combined time of 1 minute 26.95 seconds over two runs, Voronchikhina, competing in the LW6/8-2 class (upper limb impairment), secured first place.
